Keswick Superglaze
is Cumbria’s leading double glazing installer. We have
recently been granted the Kitemark Licence by BSI for the survey
and quality installation of window and doors. We are only one
of thirty nine businesses in the country to have achieved this
certification.
Over the past 20 years we have introduced an ever increasing
range of products and our range now includes:-
• Windows and doors
• Conservatories
• Roofline products
• Garage doors
• Window blinds
• Cane Furniture
Most of the work we undertake comes from previously satisfied customers
and the friends, relatives and work colleagues who they have introduced.
We also attract customers from our adverts in the local press.
Manufacturing
We pride ourselves in obtaining the best products and constantly monitor our
suppliers to ensure we achieve the highest standards. All of our PVCu and roofing
materials are supplied by Shepley Windows Systems in Manchester, winners of
the prestigious ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ award. We ourselves
have also received the ‘Best New Showroom of the Year’ award for
our premises in Keswick
Company Structure
Keswick Superglaze was established twenty years ago as a partnership, and
the business was transferred to a Limited Company in June 2005. Brian Robinson
is the Managing Director and Alan Thompson is the Sales Director. The company
has a mixture of around fifty self-employed and company employed personnel.
Company Aims
As with many companies, the plan is always to grow and expand as much as possible.
As always the demand from the public for affordable and quality
products continues to grow. The area for growth we feel that would be most
beneficial is conservatories. Currently we are erecting around seven per week,
which ideally, we would like to see increased to around ten.
The Environment
We are still striving to make the environment a better place for us all, and
we at Keswick Superglaze are no exception. 85% of our waste is recycled. The
wood is shredded and supplied to ply board factories and the rubble is crushed
and graded into aggregate, plastic, metal & glass.
For the Future
Keswick Superglaze only runs smoothly when it works as a team. We would like
all our staff to have the necessary support within their departments to ensure
all our customers are completely satisfied. Regular team meetings are held
so that any issues may be addressed and resolved.
