Solar Panels
Choosing to install Solar Panels on your home is a big decision - but one which will provide you with
benefits throughout the coming years, both in your pocket, and in the wider environment.
A Solar PV system is one of the most efficient ways of generating green electricity for your home.
It produces no harmful C02 emissions and is suitable for use in both densely populated area and
rural communities. It’s also silent to operate and requires minimal maintenance over the years.
Joining the self-generated energy revolution has never been easier. Government Feed-in Tariffs which are
fixed for 25 years, provide payments to homeowners for the electricity that’s generated, and offers the
option to sell surplus energy back to the National Grid.
With Keswick Superglaze, installing Solar Electric Panels has never been easier.

Feed in Tariffs
In order to meet national carbon reduction targets, the Government has introduced Feed-in Tariffs for
renewable energy, designed to encourage & incentivise take up by homeowners across the country.
Many other EU countries have set up similar successful schemes.
Paid for producing your own Electricity
The scheme guarantees a minimum payment for all electricity generated by the system, as well as a
separate payment for any unused surplus electricity which can be exported back to the National Grid.
These payments are in addition to the bill savings made by using the Solar electricity generated on-site.
Once you have Solar Panels installed you should experience a monthly reduction in your electricity bill,
and also receive an income from your Feed-in tariff provider. Once your installation is complete you will
need to notify your electricity supplier in order to set up the Feed-in Tariff and to start selling any
surplus energy produced back to them.
